ANC 3F RESOLUTION NOT OBJECTING

TO
RENEWAL AND SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE

OF

CLASS “A” LIQUOR LICENSE
FOR VAN NESS LIQUORS

WHEREAS, Mahalaxmi, Inc., T/A Van Ness Liquors, located at 4201 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., has applied to renew its Retail Class “A” liquor license, License No. 60668, with a substantial change to extend hours of sales to Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and

WHEREAS, ANC 3F has not received any negative comments from the community about the operation of Van Ness Liquors,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, based on the attached letter from Pravesh Saraff, President, Van Ness Liquors, regarding the hours and operation of Van Ness Liquors, ANC 3F does not object to renewal of the Retail Class “A” liquor license and extended hours for Van Ness Liquors.

Approved by a vote of 7-0-0 at a duly noticed public meeting of ANC 3F on May 15, 2006, with a quorum present (a quorum being 4).
