    ● Longitudinal mini-curb median strips at three locations along Davenport Street,                  at the 4+00 station, 8+00 station, and the 10+00 station.

    ● One warning sign in each direction at least 100 feet prior to the raised islands.                     Small reflective diamond-shaped signs at both ends of the islands as a safety                  measure.

    ● Reconstruction of the traffic barrier to protect against the steep slopes along the                  side of Davenport Street.

WHEREAS, ANC 3F considered the DDOT recommendations at a public meeting, with proper notice, and quorum present on March 21, 2005, receiving testimony from DDOT and residents, and

WHEREAS, on March 21, 2005 ANC 3F voted that it was the sense of the Commission to support a median island, raised pavement markers and reconstruction of the traffic barrier.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ANC 3F recommends and urges the following traffic calming measurers for the 2800/2900 block of Davenport Street, N.W.
