WHEREAS:  The intersection of Veazey Street and Reno Road is often blocked by south bound vehicles on Reno Road waiting for the red light at Van Ness street; and

WHEREAS:  This blocked intersection makes it very difficult for drivers to exit Veazey Street and enter Reno Road, and also makes it very difficult for northbound Reno Road traffic to turn left and enter Veazey Street; and

WHEREAS:  A sign posted at the intersection of Reno Road and Veazey Street directing that south bound traffic not block the intersection would address these problems.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: ANC 3F requests that DPW approve and oversee the immediate installation of a sign directing drivers to not block the intersection at Veazey Street and Reno Road.
