WHEREAS: a raze permit application has been filed with the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) for the property at 2969 Upton Street NW; and

WHEREAS: the property at 2969 Upton Street is one of three properties that are the subject of hearing before the Board of Zoning Adjustment regarding Application 16611, a request by the Edmund Burke School for a special exception.

WHEREAS: the Ward 3 Comprehensive supports recommends residential uses for the neighborhood in which this property is located.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: DCRA should take no further action on the raze permit application for 2969 Upton Street and that no operations permit should be issued until after BZA issues its decision on Application 16611.
