We've cut out a lot of bamboo - about 3/4 is brown (dead) and the rest
is green and fresh, but without roots. There are probably 80-100 tall
stalks ranging from 6-30 ft. tall, as well as many big lawn bags of
broken up bamboo stalks. Take as much as you like! It's easy to cut
down to smaller sizes with a handsaw. Come by during daylight hours to
2424 Chain Bridge Rd. NW (just a few blocks towrards the river off of
Macarthur Blvd.) and help yourself -- much is out front by the side of
the road, and another large pile next to the front porch.

Does anyone know of a company that can take up and haul away wet carpet as result of recent storms.
Thanks,
Natalie Wasserman

Found: Honey colored dog on Albemarle near 44th St.

A very sweet honey colored medium size dog showed upon our doorstep
(44th & Albemarle) just before the storm this evening. She seems very
afraid of the thunder.
Don't worry, our son brought her in before the storm. Please call if your
dog is lost.
