Found: Orange cat on 44th St. near Ellicott

Found, a well-cared for orange cat with no collar. Slightly plump, not
hungry. He/she wouldn't get out of the street, so I have he/she in the
house. I hate the thought of kidnapping someone's pet. If this is
your cat (or you recognize a neighbor's cat from the description),
please let me know.

Is this the same orange cat?

From: jbbender@yahoo.com

44th and Fessenden here, and assuming its the same cat: We call
her "Marmalade," and our neighbors call her "Boo Boo." We've
speculated for awhile as to whether she was stray. My daughter
desperately wants to adopt her, but because she is well fed, and
because we only see her nights and weekends, I've leaned toward her
being owned by someone who thinks it is reasonable to let their outdoor
cat go around without a collar.

"Our" Marmalade is incredibly friendly, and just as incredibly stupid
about streets, so it does sound like the same cat.

If nobody claims the little beast, and you don't want to adopt her, let
me know as my daughter would be thrilled. Of course, I don't know that
my daughter or our sole current cat would feel the same way. . .
