1.: Nee help to wire cable thru VCR!

Hi,
I'm getting desperate here. I've asked three neighbors, and no one seems to
know what is going wrong with the cable wired through my new DVD/VCR. I'm
not a hysterical female, more like an election-obsessed
Chicagoan-turned-Washingtonian - and my parents are here from Chicago. We need to watch the
election returns Tuesday! Yes, we're big Obama boosters- we're from the same
neighborhood as Senator Obama. So whether you're voting for HC or BO, can you
help fix my VCR/cable problem before Tuesday?

I'm in finals at Catholic U., but my parents are around at all regular
hours. Need this done by 6pm Tuesday! Thx. - lisa cell 202-607-5472 or 363-3639

I have been fostering kitties for Homeward Trails since the end of March. I would like to let people know how rewarding this can be. For someone who does not want a forever animal companion, fostering is wonderful. Give it a try.

Summer is approaching and it's that time again.
I urge everyone who gets COMMUNIT-E to also sign
up for the other neighborhood listserves. This is
to ensure that your message will get out during
those periods when I am not putting out the
newsletter. We have enough listserves in the
'Hood that there is no need to rely exclusively
on one.

two most directly overlap with COMMUNIT-E,
which is aimed mainly at AU Park, Tenleytown,
and Friendship Heights -- the area covered
by Police Service Area 202.
