This sounds like the same officer who pulled me over in January near
41st and Davenport. The immediate cause was my failure to come to a
complete stop at a four-way stop sign, which I didn't dispute. Then she
insisted that I hadn't been wearing a seatbelt, although I had unbuckled
it in what I'm pretty certain was plain view after being pulled over so
that I could reach my purse in the back seat. She then accused me of
having been talking on a cellphone, which I did not even have with me in
the car. She was very aggressive and accusatory and appeared to me to
be looking for an excuse to add a few more charges. Unfortunately, I no
longer have the ticket so I can't provide her name or badge number.
