What I've seen recently at the base of trees is something that looks
like flour, feels like flour, and smells like flour. I assume it's
flour. If it's flour, it was probably put there as a trail marker by a
Hash House Harrier group. To understand what that is, Google the name.
The city marks trees for removal with a red dot about 4 or 5 feet above
the ground.

very welcome tree in front of our house is marked for removal.

Commander Solberg,

Thank you for your service in the 2nd District. During your tenure you have
demonstrated superior skill in communication and community outreach that is
very much appreciated.
