H&R Block Tax Professionals 4427 Wisconsin Avenue, NW Office

Would greatly appreciate any specific feedback/referrals re: Tax
Preparers in the above-referenced Cleveland Park H&R Block Office
conveniently located several blocks from my Coop near The Wash.
National Cathderal.

Unfortunately my former CPA for over 18 yrs had to suddenly/unexpect-
ably retire.

The names listed on their website:

Dennis Beaufort
Maria Sanchez
Elizabeth Stumps

For these past 11 yrs. I have been taking care of seniors for a living
both on my own and as the Weekend Administrator/Manager at a DC
assisted living facility, where I have simultaneously conducted all
of our Sat-Sun comprehensive daily activity programs, and also cover
for my colleagues on weekdays.

I am almost all set to hand-deliver the pertinent tax forms to the
appropriate tax preparer but am also uncharacteristically behind
because of taking care of one of my 84 yr. old clients,( as a
"surrogate son") night and day, after her recent hospitali8zation at
Sibley and subsequent discharge to her apt. across the street.

Would greatly appreciate any first-hand feedback or referrals if any
of our neighbors would be kind enough to please send me any pertinent
information.

Gratefully yours,

Paull T. Sargent

Remodeling Contractor/Handyman

Hi. We live on 46th Street and I want to recommend a good contractor/handyman who worked on our basement.

His name is David Ochoa and we are very pleased with his work. We asked him to finish the laundry room/furnace side of our basement and he did a fine job. He replaced the floor, finished several walls, new bathroom, custom built storage cabinet and all painting. The work is really good with a lot of attention to detail.

The best part is the price. He charged us ONE HALF of the estimate that we received from CASE.

I recommend this guy very highly. His number is
202-409-6921.

Gutter / Downspouts - underground drainage

Does anyone know of or has worked with in the past someone to discuss
the underground drainage pipes that are connected to the gutters &
downspouts on most homes in the AU Park area?
Ours are not draining well and I am guessing that they are either
clogged or have collapsed.
Can't decide if I need a plumber or a landscaper…..

Did you call the police?!?! Did you look out to see who was shooting in the
middle of the night?? This is certainly not acceptable!
