We have been very happy with President's Valet, 4837 Wisconsin Ave. The
adult daughter of the owner, Mr Kim, has been doing alterations for us for
years. She is a sweetheart and very diligently talented. I know you will be
pleased.

We always take these types of projects to American Valet (next to
Guapo's). Their seamstress consistently does fine work at reasonable
cost, and she's very timely!

The seamstress at President Valet (on Wisconsin between Davenport and Ellicott, across from the Volvo dealer) is excellent. She has made many repairs for us, including reweaving to fix a moth hole in a sport coat -- a job so good we can't even tell where the hole had been!

My husband and I tried the Satay Club Restaurant yesterday, and we both agree with the comments already written on it. There is a good selection of dishes and what we had was well prepared. The tea we ordered came in a beautiful iron pot, and the tea in it was loose, fresh and fragrant. I was impressed. Also, the restaurant seems to be doing good business in carry-out.

I can heartily recommend JML Remodeling. Turns out that Joe Lodmel
is the nephew of a woman who was a classmate of mine in college!
They did our basement remodeling, and what a lovely bunch of people
they are! A beautiful job and reasonable. Ann Ingram

MEDIA ADVISORY

APRIL 5 GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP WASHINGTON, DC

CANCELLED DUE TO PREDICTED SEVERE WEATHER

(Washington, DC) The Great American Cleanup Washington, DC, scheduled
for Saturday, April 5, 2008, has been cancelled due to predictions of
lightning and thunder storms that morning. The cleanup is sponsored by
Keep America Beautiful and Keep Washington DC Beautiful and was to have
begun at 9 am at the US Department of Transportation Plaza across from
Nationals Park in Southeast Washington.

"I regret having to make this decision, but the safety of the hundreds
of volunteers we expected to participate comes first," said KAB Senior
Vice President Gail Cunningham. "We can work in rain or snow, but
lightning poses an unacceptable danger."

The Washington, DC event is one of several Great American Cleanups
planned for this spring across the country.

For further information, please call Gail Cunningham at (203) 323-8987.
