I have lost my cat. He is a large, male (nurtured) black cat, with a
flea collar and a tag. His name is Sammy, although he will answer to
almost anything. He is very friendly and harmless. If you should see
Sammy in the alley or wandering around the neighborhood would you
please catch him if possible and call me on:

202-237-0606
or
202-329-7075

Thanks so much for your help!

Sincerely, Leslie

theft from front porch

I live on Davenport St., between 46th and 47th. I'm sad to report a theft from the front of my home. I've lived in my home for over 11 years and have always felt so safe, thus my sadness. I have had for many years an antique eagle plaque that has hung to the right of my front door. I have a substantial porch across the front, steps up to the porch and there are steps from the sidewalk up to my front walk. I feel especially uncomfortable because the thief noticed the plaque and later, waiting for dark, came back to get it.
The plaque is metal, an American Eagle and the unfurled flag. It was very old, but there was some color left on it. It was about 18inches across.
If anyone notices it please contact me through this newsletter. Thank you.
