The three developer power point presentations from the February 28th
community meeting regarding the Janney School/Tenley-Friendship
Library site RFP are now posted on two websites:

1. www.anc3e.org (under meeting minutes tab)

2. www.dcbiz.dc.gov (click on Development Opportunities, then the
Tenley-Friendship Janney Elementary Solicitations of Offers, then look
under Developer Proposal Presentations.

Thank you to all of the neighbors that have brought this issue to my
attention.

I have already been in touch with Commander Solberg and I have asked
for more police presence, a more energetic response, and greater
attentiveness to the rowdiness that has occurred at that Metro
station. Additionally, my office is in touch with WMATA officials
about safety and security inside of the subway station and Wilson
High School.

Please be in touch with my office if additional problems arise.

Best regards,

Does anyone have a piano tuner to recommend based on recent experience
and proximity to our neighborhood? If so, please send an email to
rkspringwater@starpower.net.
Thanks in advance.

Tours of the Galapagos

We would like to hear from people who have taken tours of the Galapagos
Islands in the past five years -- we are seeking recommendations (or
dis-recommendations) on boats and tours. Also, we would like to get
recommendations for lodges on the Amazon River in Peru or Ecuador. Thanks.

Concerning the Elizabeth Haile experience, this is a "perfect" topic
to "Ask Mayor Fenty" on either Channel 4 or Channel 5. It would be
very interesting to have him justify police and educator's responses
to what all admit is continual, dangerous and uncivilized behavior by
Wilson students. This incident is unacceptable for a member of our
community and neighborhood to have had to endure.

Please keep us posted on the response and actions taken by our
representative Mary Cheh. We must as a community make a stand that
this type of behavior will not be tolerated!!!
