To the Wilson HS Community:

The Woodrow Wilson Management Corporation, Grim + Parker Architects and the Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization are engaged in Phase 1 of the modernization of WWHS. Phase 1 involves the development of Educational Guidelines and concept plans for the modernization of the physical facilities. Modernization will address issues such as access to the school, parking, space needs and replacement of mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems throughout the building.

To help us understand the school’s needs and place in the community, we are seeking input from a wide variety of stake holders and community members involved with the school. This survey is a broad overview of the current physical conditions, opportunities and challenges faced by the school. It is the first step in a multi phased process. Discussions and meetings will be held over the coming months to address issues in greater detail. Your input is highly valued and we appreciate your telling us your thoughts, your hopes, and your concerns. Your responses will help focus our objectives and inform the organization of the more detailed focus group meetings.

Completion of the online survey is preferred, however if you have neighbors (without computer access) who would like to participate, please print up a survey for them. Printed surveys can be mailed to: Wilson HS PTSA, 3950 Chesapeake St. NW, Washington, DC 20016.

Surveys are due on Friday, March 14.
