Seeking: Artist Studio in Tenleytown area

Local artist needs a room with access to running water and some natural light. Could be a garage, unused office space, guest room or other creative solution. I use non-toxic materials and would give a deposit to ensure the room remains in good condition. Willing to pay rent, or give art lessons in exchange for a space. Thanks! Bathroom leaking, contractor needed...

This morning we discovered dripping in our kitchen from the upstairs
bathroom. It looks like some grout is worn away, but there may be
other problems as well. Any recommendations on someone to diagnose and
fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rick Dulaney

Does 311 Work?

Prepare to be surprised. I've called twice about an alley light
problem, once in the afternoon, and yesterday at 9:00 AM and both
times got right through to a human being after maybe a 5 second
wait! I did have a Confirmation Number from a previous phone call to
the mayor's old universal telephone number, against which which I
requested a status report, and had a pleasant answer in about 3
seconds. That said, the office to which my alley light problem was
directed for action - seems to be a different matter. Each followup
call processed by 311 is given a new Conformation Number. Life begins
anew all over again. The 311 operator informed me this 311 number is
active 24 hours a day.
