electrician recommendation

I recommend the electrical services of Mr. Hubert
Reid, a lovely gentleman with many years of
experience. He was recommended by my neighbor, who
is a structural engineer. While another electrician
insisted that I needed a new electric panel at a
cost of $2,800, Mr. Reid said he could just clean up
the panel, scrapping off corrosion, at a cost of
only $200. Things have worked fine since. He also
installed some outlets and his prices were very reasonable
He can be reached at 240-601-6945.

I was at our post office last week to pickup a parcel and inquired why our mail has ben so late. I was told they were short of staff and needed more help. The tone of the response discouraged me from making any further inquiries.

Mail delivery

I have never received my mail after 10 p.m., but sometimes after 7, which is already too late. This happens when our mailman is off and a mailperson unfamiliar with the route has to take over his route after they complete their own .
At least the mail carriers are wearing lights on their caps at night now. I told my mailman I was glad the Post Office had started issuing carriers with the lights . He said they are not PO issue - the carriers have to buy their own ....

A new scam

I would like people in the neighborhood to know that I had a terrible
scam experience yesterday. Someone called and said he was representing
Publishers clearing House and that I would be receiving 500,000 on
thursday between 9 and 11. He then told me that I would owe the irs
alot but he had arranged a small finance service to help me. I smelled
a rat and said I would rather let my C.P.A. handle such matters.
Immediately he hung up. I have informed the Publishers Clearing office
about this.Everyone should watch out.

Our Regular Mailman said the lateness was due to sorters taking too
much time to get the mail ready. The carriers are there in the morning
and have to wait around until the mail is ready for them to deliver.
This is a problem at Friendship Post Office, and not the fault of
carriers.
