Holiday Party for children of fallen police officers

Concerns of Police Survivors
P.O. Box 31549
Washington, D.C. 20030-1549
Phone: (202) 332-COPS • Fax: (202) 583-3505 fax
mail@dc-cops.org • www.dc-cops.org

Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS) in conjunction with the Fraternal
Order of Police (FOP) will be hosting the annual holiday party on
December 1st, 2007, for the children of fallen officers.

We are once again asking the community and their businesses to help
with this event. We are expecting 50 children and 200 family members
of fallen officers. In order to provide a festive event for these
children and the families, we are requesting several means of support.
You may consider a food donation if you are a restaurant, a suitable
gift if you are a business, all of which will directly help these
"heroes of law enforcement" families with a memorable evening in this
seasoning of giving.

Tax Exempt 501(c) (3), Federal Tax number 9502

We take great pride in being asked to host this year's holiday party
and will look forward to your continuous support, not only for your
donations but your continued support within the law enforcement
community.

COPS provide resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of
surviving families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of
duty, as determined by Federal government criteria. Furthermore, COPS
provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor
victimization issues and educates the public of the need to support
the law enforcement profession and its survivors.

Please contact Carol Holloway at 202-345-4808 or John Holloway at
202-262-8023 if you have any questions and/or you wish to donate for
this great event.
LOCATION: FOP DC LODGE #1, 711 4th Street, N.W., Washington, DC
DATE: December 1, 2007
TIME: Noon to 4:00 p.m.

We again thank you for your continued support for this worthwhile cause.

Mail Delivery

Does anybody know what is going on with the US mail delivery? It is now 10 pm and we still
have not gotten any mail! Last week on at least two occasions mail arrived after 9:30 pm. I
know that our usual mail delivery is well after six pm generally, but this is bordering on the
ridiculous.
