Damaging of autos - Friday night August 3rd in the alley behind the 4200
block of Jenifer St. N. W. one car and one truck were damaged. The front
window of the truck was smashed and the canvas roof of a convertible was
slashed. Both autos were parked on private property.

I use "Computeroo". This is one very nice guy on his own in business
to help folks like us. He advertises in the neighborhood papers all
the time, which is how I found him. Look for the kangaroo symbol in
the ad. (He is Australian.) His name is Michael Casson and his cell
phone number is (202) 486-3145.

I have never been to Bagel City, and cannot speak from personal
experience. However, I think it would be constructive if former
patrons sent him a short note, saying what they think of the place and
the service. While venting to each other has some value, nothing will
change unless the guy gets the word. He will at least know that his
customers are dissatisfied enough to take their business elsewhere.

We had similar incidences in our neighborhood this past Friday night.
Two vehicles parked on private property along the alley behind the
4200 block of Jenifer St. One truck had the front window smashed.
Another new convertible had the canvas top slashed and the antenna
broken off. I understand that the police told the owner that there
wasn't anything theycould do about this kind of vandalism. I am in
the middle of these two houses and hope that I won't be next!
