Karyn LeBlanc, of DDOT, recently announced at our June ANC 3E meeting
that DDOT plans to post signs that will not allow parking along River
Road in the area close to Western Avenue (between 46th Street and
Western)in the morning rush hour. Parking is already restricted in the
afternoon rush hour, but as many people have pointed out, the problem
of allowing parking along that part of the road is evident in the
morning as well. I have forwarded this listserve's comments to Ms.
LeBlanc, and I am certain that she will respond soon.
